Southern Decadence

I can't let a year go by without saying something about SD. And SD 2011 was so good I can't put it into words.

If you have never done SD....you should. Its old, historic, fun, lively, smelly...just amazing. All walks of life show up and anything can happen. From thunderstorm downpours, to traffic trannies directing traffic, to meeting someone who completely sweeps you off your feet...New Orleans has something magical in store for everyone. I had so much fun I only took about 3 pics with my camera phone lol.

Take my advice and just go next year...you won't be dissapointed.

Rough Gods Photo Shoot

This past weekend I had the pleasure of shooting with Michael Alago. He has two books out already......Rough Gods and The Brutal Truth. We did a three day shoot Friday, Saturday, and Sunday morning. Most of our stuff we did on the Westside Highway in NYC. There are some really great spots there along the River near Pier 54. I had been to Pier 54 earlier this summer for the Pier Dance so I was a little familiar with the area already. I am posting a few of the sample pics. I am thrilled to be a part of Michael's work and his upcoming books. He was a pleasure to work with.

Market Days Recap

So Market Days was an absolute thrill. I was able to work the main party at the House of Blues...the Wild West Revolution. Here are some pics of the event.

It was a Western theme....really fun costumes and great music! Other than the main parties Market Days was very much like Southern Decadence, but more subdued. A large street festival if you will. Chicago is beautiful and the locals are super friendly.

Definitely a trip worth taking if you have not been.
